Takashi Homma (Tokio, 1962) vivió en Londres de 1991 a 1992 vivió en Londres, donde trabajó para una revista de moda y cultura para jóvenes,  i-D. Tras su regreso a Japón, expuso sus fotografías con los títulos de "Waves", "Landscapes of suburbs", "Aerial Photography" y "Children in Tokyo".
En 1998, recibió el 24 premio de Fotografía anual Ihei Kimurapara por su proyecto "SUBURBIA TOKYO - Tokyo Kogai", en la que tomó fotos de los barrios de Tokio y de la gente que vive allí.

Takashi Homma (Tokyo, 1962) lived in London from 1991 to 1992. There he worked for a fashion and culture magazine for young people, i-D. After he came back to Japan, he had his photography shows "Waves", "Landscapes of suburbs", "Aerial Photography" and "Children in Tokyo". In 1998, he received the 24th annual Ihei Kimura Photography Award for "TOKYO SUBURBIA - Tokyo Kogai", in which he took pictures of the sceneries of the suburbs of Tokyo and the people living there.
